Golden hour light is soft, warm and endlessly flattering — but only if you know how to use it.
First, always shoot with the sun behind your subject rather than facing it directly; this creates a gentle rim light and avoids harsh squinting. Second, use a wide aperture to melt the background into a dreamy blur that keeps all the attention on your subject. Third, arrive fifteen minutes early to scout your location while the light is still building.
Finally, don't rush. Golden hour only lasts about twenty minutes at peak quality, so have your shot list ready and move quickly but calmly between setups.
Every photograph is a fragment of time, frozen forever.
